In this re-imagining of the original classic Silent Hill, the bone-chilling tale of everyman Harry Mason's trials in the mysterious town of Silent Hill is cast in a whole new light. When Harry is knocked unconscious in an automobile accident, he wakes up to find his daughter missing, with all signs as to her location pointing toward Silent Hill. As this is not a remake, the developer has taken some liberties with the story and gameplay, including the decision to remove all combat from the game. Players will now have to flee for their lives if they encounter the game's notoriously hellish creatures, rather than bash their heads in or pump them full of bullets. Much talk has also been made of the game's ability to "watch" you as you play and adjust certain aspects accordingly.
